The ‘Sketch’ illustrated weekly dated Wednesday May 27, 1896, from which the ‘Cycles at Coventry’ article in Nov-Dec issue of Mascot, about a visit to the Singer factory, was extracted. The Sketch focused on high society and the aristocracy, and this issue, No 174, Vol XlV is in very good condition for its age, except the stitch binding is pulled through, but it is still present, as are all its 52 pages. £15.00 plus P&P.

1934 Singer 9 Sports. This is a very original and reliable car, and being the 4 seater model is great for all the family to enjoy vintage driving.
The car has a very well documented history and was thoroughly restored during the 1980s. The car is red, and has a lovely wood instrument panel and comes with full weather equipment including a double-duck hood, side screens, matching hood cover and full tonneau.
This delightful little car lives in Berkhamsted, has a current MOT, runs really well and is in ready to ‘use and enjoy’ condition. It will give you many miles of driving fun.

1939 Singer 9 Roadster 4-seater tourer, complete with hood, side screens and tonneau. Over 75 years patina - shame to paint. Owned for about 5 years - tyres and battery replaced and carb and steering box re-conditioned. Petrol pump stopped working so temporary electric one fitted. Fuel gauge doesn't work - sender unit suspected. Previous owner replaced 3-speed gearbox with a 4-speed box. Under orders to sell - £7950.

1939 Singer Super 12 - £7500. 4 cyl OHC, 1525cc, 12HP. Engine removed as rod ends need white-metaling. Sale includes a stack of original magazines, ads, sales brochures, replica tax discs 1940-1944, collected over the past few years. A few points: Both doors on the driver’s side have some bubbling along the length of the bottom; sliding sunroof was sealed shut by the previous owner so does not work; rear window rubber seal has a gap at top and leaks in heavy rain; driver side rear door does not close flush at the bottom.

Singer 14hp Saloon - 1934 Model .
First registered 01 Dec 1933. Green and black with green leather seats and carpets. Sunroof. 83,000 miles on the clock. The car runs well - its 1612 cc six cylinder engine was fully overhauled in 1997. This is a rare model, possibly the only one in the UK and was only manufactured for 1 year. Only two former owners and plenty of history. The car has won many shows over the years and been used on films - ‘The Yanks’ in 1978;

1932 Singer Junior 4-Str Tourer, 9HP (972cc), Reg No JM 311. In need of restoration. A rare opportunity to purchase a rare historic vehicle with a very valuable registration number.
