The ‘Sketch’ illustrated weekly dated Wednesday May 27, 1896, from which the ‘Cycles at Coventry’ article in Nov-Dec issue of Mascot, about a visit to the Singer factory, was extracted.  The Sketch focused on high society and the aristocracy, and this issue, No 174, Vol XlV is in very good condition for its age, except the stitch binding is pulled through, but it is still present, as are all its 52 pages.  £15.00 plus P&P.

First registered 01 Dec 1933.  Green and black with green leather seats and carpets. Sunroof. 83,000 miles on the clock. The car runs well - its 1612 cc six cylinder engine was fully overhauled in 1997. This is a rare model, possibly the only one in the UK and was only manufactured for 1 year.  Only two former owners and plenty of history.  The car has won many shows over the years and been used on films - ‘The Yanks’ in 1978;
‘TV Thunder Clouds’  and ‘Omnibus’.  Its owner is now 85 years old and feels it is time to sell his much loved car, which can be seen in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The price is £15,000 ono.  Call Philip Wood on 07979072825 or 07721696484, or  e-Mail:

1934 Singer 9 Sports. This is a very original and reliable car, and being the 4 seater model is great for all the family to enjoy vintage driving.
The car has a very well documented history and was thoroughly restored during the 1980s.  The car is red, and has a lovely wood instrument panel and comes with full weather equipment including a double-duck hood, side screens, matching hood cover and full tonneau.

This delightful little car lives in Berkhamsted, has a current MOT, runs really well and is in ready to ‘use and enjoy’ condition.  It will give you many miles of driving fun.
