NEW NOGGINS VENUE 1 - The West Midlands/Cheshire Group will be holding a bimonthly meeting on the fourth Saturday of each odd numbered month at the Vine Inn, Barns Lane, Dunham Massey, Cheshire WA14 5RH. The next meeting should be on 27 January 2018 , but please check first with Malcolm Cormack by e-mail: cormackmb @ gmail.com or Mobile: 07973 837750. This meeting is a joint venture with the SOC, and all Classic Marque enthusiasts are welcome.

Midland Vehicle Preservation Society at the Weston Hall Hotel, Weston Lane, Bulkington, Nr Coventry CV12 9RU 1st Monday of each month at 7.30pm. All Singer enthusiasts welcome.
South West & South Wales Area - 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8pm at The Major’s Retreat. This pub is in the centre of Tormarton village approx 1 mile north east of junction 18 of the M4 motorway. Lunchtime Meet in Norfolk. Open to all old car enthusiasts, HRG and Singer owners particularly. Now at the 'The King's Head, Bawburgh. just off the A47 on the west side of Norwich. Humberside - Station Classics Meet every second Wednesday of the month from April to September at 7pm, and from October to March on every second Sunday of the month at 2pm, at The Station Public House. Sunbeam Rapier Chilterns Area invite you to join them at their meetings from 8pm on the third Monday of each month at the Leather Bottle, Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead, Herts. 19-21 May - Amicale Singer France (ASF) Saumur Rally (Loire Valley)
We are very pleased that Liz Heyer of the SOC has agreed to coordinate the entries for the Saumur Rally on behalf of both UK Singer Clubs, and if you wish to attend please contact Liz either by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org, or Tel: 01440 730579 as soon as possible for an Entry Form and more details.
If you telephone the Campanile Hotel direct (00 33 2 41 40 46 46 from a landline) during working hours you should be able to speak with a staff member in English to make your booking. They will require credit/debit card details, although you have the option of paying immediately or at the time of your stay. Remember to quote the code "Amicale Singer France" for the discounted rate. The hotel also has an email address - email@example.com - and we suggest you email them to confirm your booking.
Quite a lot of people are also turning it into a longer trip and making the most of driving in France - relatively empty and well maintained roads and beautiful countryside, not to mention the delights of French food and drink!
The Rally will be limited to 100 people and places are filling up fast, so if you have yet to contact Liz please do so asap and she will send you more details.
SNCR Weekend 2018 will be in the New Forest from 12-17 July.
The Itinerary includes visits to the New Forest Museum; a Verderers Court; wine tasting; Bucklers Hard, incl Boat Trip; Beaulieu Motor Museum; Our Annual Gala Dinner; ASCO’s National Day at Braemore House, with picnic lunch; Mottisfont House & Gardens.

24 June - Kingston Maurward College Open Day. Come along and display your Singer in the place where George Singer was born in 1847, when his father was Farm Bailiff on this beautiful estate. Fun-filled attractions include kayaking, climbing wall, football demos, tractor rides, heavy horses, forgework, tree climbing country crafts, dog show and more. Events will be held throughout the day in the Animal Park, the 750-acre grounds and 18th Century Manor House. Contact John Horne for further details if you wish to attend.
7-8 July - Powderham Castle Historic Vehicles Rally. This is a really nice Rally, set in the lovely location of Powderham Castle on the estuary of the River EXE, near Exeter in Devon. The staem-hauled Torbay express passes the site on the Sunday. All in all a great weekend in the company of like-minded Singer enthusiasts. Auto-jumble and ring events.
