2-5 Aug 2019 - ASCO Singer National Car Weekend 2019

This event will be centred on the fine City of Norwich, with forays to places of interest in the surrounding County of Norfolk - Charles and Jenny Sumser-Lupson are already working hard making the necessary arrangements.

19 May - 25th New Forest Charity Car Run - Southampton Magna Rotary Club.  This will be the usual fun day out with approx 75 miles through the pleasant surroundings of The New Forest.  For more info contact

12 May - The Stirling & District Classic Car Club show will be held in Bridge of Allan, which is on the outskirts of Stirling. Turnout is around 700 cars.   The Show’s website is: -  Early booking recommended.

29 & 30 June.  Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts Moffat Classic Car Rally. The Show’s website is - .  Martin plans to be there for both days. On the first is a VERY scenic run in the Border hills behind Moffat.  Given the Rootes connection, there is a very good turn-out of Singers at this show.  Note:  Places fill up VERY quickly for this one - early booking recommended

23 June - Kingston Maurward College Open Day - It would be great to see a few more Singers there this year at this lovely location, which is so important to the history of the Singer family.

18-19 May - Spring Beaulieu Autojumble:  Come and visit us on Stand No G162 & G162b

The West Midlands/Cheshire Group will be holding a bimonthly meeting on the fourth Saturday of each odd numbered month at the Vine Inn, Barns Lane, Dunham Massey, Cheshire WA14 5RH.   The next meetings should be on 26 Jan 2019, then 23 March and 25 May, but please check first with Malcolm Cormack by e-mail: cormackmb @  or Mobile: 07973 837750.  This meeting is a joint venture with the SOC, and all Classic Marque enthusiasts are welcome.

18 August. ‘Elite Marques’ Classic Car Show - Hyde Hall, Essex.  Once again we have been especially invited by the Jaguar clubs to the Hyde Hall show.  It is free entry to stroll round the beautiful Hyde Hall gardens, with over 250 cars to view.
