This 1929 Singer Junior Porlockhas been in David O’Connor’s private collection since 2004. The car has an interesting history, its one lady owner being well known driving around the New Forest up to the 1960s. Some years later it was tracked down by an enthusiast, the lady initially forgetting where it was. Finally it was traced to a potting shed, and the enthusiast was allowed to take, restore and use it. But only when she died could he purchase it! David is therefore its 3rd owner. The car is in good original, renovated condition, but on display and not actually used.
David is now looking to reduce his collection and is putting it up for sale It ran well when purchased, and is said to need only clutch adjustment and recommissioning.
