The scene from the compound at Blists Hill Victorian Town, Ironbridge, Shropshire, site of our 2012 National Singer Day, with the chimneys of the old Brick and Tile works forming the backdrop, plus images of two other original features of the town - the Mine and Blast Furnaces, and the working replica of Trevithick’s 1802 steam locomotive.
Altogether some 35 Singers filled the compound, with cars ranging from 1925 to 1968 in a magnificent display of gleaming paintwork and polished chrome.
