A plaque based on the ASCO logo was duly produced, and on 15 May a small group of Members visited the Museum to present it to John Bishop, the Heritage Centre’s Car Clubs and Groups Co-ordinator.
After lunch in the museum restaurant, Peter Watts, our Vice-Chairman, presented the plaque to John Bishop, and we then took a complimentary tour of the museum, during which John mounted it on the wall ready for a group photo. John also noted that two of our group had arrived in their Singers - Colin Mills with his 1.5 litre Le Mans Special, and Chris Hayward in his Gazelle Convertible. John said that to his knowledge this was the first time Singer cars had been parked in

When John Taylor visited the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon a while ago, he was impressed, not only by
the exhibits, but also by the ‘Club Wall’, on which are mounted about 90 Classic & Vintage Car Club Badges and/or Logos, where he noticed a glaring omission and suggested to the committee that ASCO should be represented ‘on the wall’.
